Oct. 4, 1947 – Nov. 1, 2015. Ronald Lovelle Grill, 68, of Sweet Home passed away Sunday. He was born in Roseau, Minn. to Arnold and Pearl (Petersen) Grill.
He has lived in Sweet Home for 63 years and graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1965. He attended Lane Community College for one year.
Ronald served in the United States Air Force for four years. While serving he was stationed in Germany and received an honorable discharge.
He met Lee in Ettelbruck, Luxembourg in 1968. She moved to the States in April of 1971 and they married on May 10, 1971 in Carson City, Nev.
Ronald is survived by his wife Lee; daughters Michelle Grill, Shawna and her husband Dan Schroe-der; and grandchildren Madisen Barringer, and Russell and Tyson Schroeder.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Pearl Grill; and sister Judy Wodtli.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, at Sweet Home Mennonite Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Ronald’s name to the Wounded Warriors Project.
