The Rotary Clubs of Greater Corvallis and Greater Albany, led by Juan Ulep of Sweet Home and assisted by Sweet Home veterans, loaded a container and sent their fifth shipment of textbooks and medical supplies to the Philippines Saturday morning.
The shipment was named Project Laoag Three.
“The Provincial Hospital and its satellite district are poorly equipped,” Ulep said. It’s not unusual to see patients in beds in the hallways.
