Ruth Ann Gallogly Boehmer, 55, of Bend died Nov. 18, 2011.
She was born May 17, 1956 in Shamrock, Texas, where she was immediately adopted by Don and Billie Gallogly. Soon thereafter, the family moved to El Monte, Calif., where they lived until 1962, when they moved to the Sweet Home area. She graduated from Sweet Home High School in 1974.
She moved to Bend in 1977, after meeting her future husband, Scott Boehmer, while working at Kah-Nee-Ta.
Mrs. Boehmer was a creative, generous person who always found and loved to give insightful gifts. Most of all, she was devoted to raising and supporting her children. She particularly enjoyed traveling to Disneyland and made several trips to with her family for that purpose. She was a Tupperware representative for many years.
Mrs. Boehmer is survived by her husband, Scott; daughter Megan; twin sons Daniel and Matthew; parents Don and Alice Gollogly; and siblings Julie Knurowski, Barbara Stevens, Susan Olson, Stephen Knurowski, Nancy Gallogly and Donald Gollogly.
