Ruth Ellen Chestem Arndt, 85, of Sweet Home, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on September 12, 2011, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Ruth was born in Decatur, Nebraska, on September 3rd, 1926, to Abner K. and Frances I. (Foltz) Chestem.
