She was born July 16, 1927 in Carlyle, Ill. to Robert Lee and Grace (McPike) Russell.
She lived in Illinois, Ohio, Florida, New Mexico, Wyoming, Montana and Idaho before settling in Sweet Home in 1994.
Mrs. West was a homemaker, concert pianist, piano teacher, accompanist, and member of the Billings Symphony Orchestra.
