Rylee Cole, Megan Graville tops in hoops

The girls basketball team named Rylee Cole Offensive Player of the Year and Megan Graville Defensive Player of the Year during its annual awards dessert held on March 9.

Nicole Bell received the Sportsmanship Award. Sarah Wyatt received the Hustle Award.

The Coaches Award went to Kellie Weld, and Annie Whitfield earned the free-throw award for shooting 81 percent from the foul line.

Cole earned third-team all-league honors from the Sky-Em. Megan Rubidoux and Graville received honorable mention.

On the junior varsity team, Katie Virtue was Offensive Player of the Year, and Harlee Brendle was Defensive Player of the Year.

Cortney Kent received the Hustle Award; Emily Marchbanks, Sportsmanship Award; and Brendle, Free Throw Award.

First-year letters went to Kendell Anderson, Nicole Bell, Chloe Muir and Kellie Weld.

Second-year letters went to Megan Graville, Randi Muir, Sabrina Davis and Sarah Wyatt.

Annie Whitfield and Megan Rubidoux received their third letters.

Cole received her fourth letter.
