A Salem veterinarian died in Sweet Home on Friday, April 8, when a tractor flipped on top of him.
Police and medics responded to the call at 2:07 p.m. Friday to 707 Mountain View Road. The victim, Lyle Scott, 71, of Salem died prior to the arrival of emergency responders.
“The victim was pulling a tree stump in his (relative’s) backyard with a farm tractor,” said Jason Ogden, sergeant with the Sweet Home Police Department.…
