Sally Jane Wallace, 77, of Sweet Home died May 28, 2015.
She was born Feb. 18, 1938 in El Dorado Springs, Mo. to Noel and La Retta (Harmon) Derr.
She graduated from The Dalles High School in June of 1956.
She married Cecil Wallace on May 15, 1959 in The Dalles, where they met on a blind date. They moved to Sweet Home in 1962.
Mrs. Wallace loved gardening, sewing, reading and making a home. She was a housewife most of her life.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Cecil; and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Wallace was preceded in death by her two sisters, Barbara Ruth Hille and Wilma Faye Martin.
Graveside services were held June 2 at Lewis Cemetery.
