Sarah Beatrice Cox, 87, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 29, 2021, of pneumonia at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1934, in Deuel County, Neb., to Albin and Helen Williams, one of five children.
She grew up in Sheridan and graduated from Sheridan High School.
She married her husband, Newt Cox, at the lighthouse in Point Sur, Calif., where he was stationed while he served in the Coast Guard.
