Seasons of Life

Lebanon Community Chorus presented “The Rhythms of Life,” directed by Tami McWayne and accompanied by Bill Langdon, on Sunday, April 12, at Lebanon High School.

Lebanon Community Chorus members add movement to their performance of “Dancing Queen.”

Middle school students from Lebanon and Albany kicked off the concert with “When I Grow Up,” a song from a child’s perspective reflecting on the benefits they will experience when they’re grown up, such as eating sweets every day and being brave enough to fight the creatures under the bed.

According to McWayne, the concert followed the various seasons of life, from the child’s eagerness to grow up, to friendships and love, from work to raising children, and from a changing world to the end of life, all of the seasons we walk through making up the rhythm of life.

Bill Boyce, Lisa Gabbard, Juliette Asuncion, Luke Rausch, Susan Fierro, Jane Allen, Kari Bennett, Pattie Serigne, Jennifer Moody, Julia Kirby, Anne Johnson, Eric Bennett and Teresa Clinton performed solos.
