Learning about Health
Sweet Home held its eighth annual Health Fair Saturday, Aug. 16, in the Activities Gym at Sweet Home High School because of the rain. Kids learned about how to eat healthily, above, and about exercise in a jump rope competition. Free back-to-school backpacks and clothing were distributed to those who needed them.

Muchas Music for Grand Opening
A mariachi band performs Wednesday, Aug. 13, outside of Muchas Gracias Mexican restaurant, which has occupied the former Taco Time location at 2301 Main St. The new chain restaurant opened with a ribbon cutting ceremony that day.
