Packing Thanksgiving Boxes for Needy

Students collected enough food for 60 families during the drive. The boxes were delivered Monday, Nov. 24, in time for Thanksgiving.

Trotting with Thankfulness
Participants in the Thankful Trot 1 Mile Fun Run took off from the start at Community Chapel, where the inaugural event was held Saturday morning, Nov. 22.
The event was held to raise money for local nonprofit food programs.
Lifting Christmas Spirit
City employees hang wreaths in the medians along Highway 20 on Tuesday, Nov. 25, giving a nearly instant Christmas vibe in the community. The City of Sweet Home will host its annual tree lighting celebration at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, at City Hall, 3225 Main St. Park behind City Hall.
