Lexi Schilling, above, right, won the girls 115-pound division of the Oregon Cultural Exchange Trials Saturday at Sweet Home High School. Wrestlers from around the state, from all divisions, converged on the Main Gym to decide who would win a spot on Oregon’s cultural exchange team that will tour South Africa in late July. Schilling pinned Bend’s Analise Smith, above, in the final in the freestyle competition. Sweet Home’s Brayden Newport, right, in blue, finished third at 150 pounds, winning a 14-4 technical fall over Garrett Ocallaghan of Junction City, in red. The win evened the score after Ocallaghan scored a 15-4 technical fall to knock Newport out of the championship bracket earlier.
