Sweet Home students will make up two of three days canceled because of snow in early January.
Previously decided, the district changed parent-teacher conference days to regular school days on Jan. 26 for the high school and May 17 for elementary and junior high schools.
District 55 and teachers’ negotiation teams met last week to discuss making up the remaining snow days.
The second make-up day will be Feb. 16., President’s Day, at all schools.
The third day will be counted as an emergency day closure and will not be made up.
The two teams also agreed to make a chance in the second trimester’s grading day pending board approval. The idea was to balance out the number of days in the second and third trimesters.
March 8, the scheduled grading day will become a regular school day. That grading day will be moved to March 10 for elementary schools and March 12 for junior high and high school.
