Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will visit local neighborhoods between 9 a.m. and noon Saturday, Nov. 17, to collect canned food items and non-perishable goods for Sweet Home Emergency Ministries, the local food bank.
Suggested items for donation include tuna, peanut butter, rice, flour, pasta, beans, chili, vegetables, soups, stew and coffee. Packaged household products such as toilet paper, paper products, hand soap, dish and laundry soap, and monetary donations are also welcome.
