Sean C. Morgan, Tiffany Ames married in local park ceremony

Sean C. Morgan and Tiffany A. Ames were married on Sept. 8 at River Bend Park east of Sweet Home.

Community Chapel Associate Pastor Don Knight officiated.

Mrs. Morgan is the daughter of the late Deborah Prather of Sweet Home and Robert Gibbons of Washington. She attended Sweet Home High School. She is employed by White’s Electronics and has worked at Taco Time.

Mr. Morgan is the son of Ron and AnaMarie Morgan of Salem. He graduated from high school at College Park Christian Academy in Salem in 1989 and the University of Oregon in 1995 with a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and communications and a minor in economics. He has been employed by The New Era as a reporter since December 1995.

Best man was the groom’s best friend, Lee Lindgren of Silverton. Matron of honor was the bride’s best friend, Aleesha Wells Snyder of Albany.

The bride’s grandmother, Kathy Christianson of Sweet Home, gave away the bride.

Firiel Severn and Miriam Swanson of The New Era coordinated the wedding.

Sonja Morgan, the groom’s sister and owner of Sonja Morgan Photography and Design of Puyallup, Wash., was the official wedding photographer.

Michelle Knight, owner of Michelle Knight Designs of Sweet Home, provided flowers and decorations. Santiam Feed also provided decorations.

Jamie Salsbery Snyder of Sweet Home Florist provided the money tree.

Gina Riley baked and provided the wedding cake.

The reception was a potluck with a barbecue by Chris Pinto of The New Era.

The Morgans went to Las Vegas, Nev., for their honeymoon.
