A 4-year-old girl was injured Monday evening when she was hit by a vehicle near 1703 12th Ave.
The girl, Courtney Renae Lee-Brockman was transported to Lebanon Community Hospital and then on to Oregon Health Sciences University in fair condition.
Lee-Brockman had been on the east side of the street. Jessica Louise Lowery, 16, was headed south on 12th Avenue. At the same time, a Suburban was headed north, blocking Lowery’s view of the girl, Sgt. George Dominy said. After the northbound Suburban passed, Lee-Brockman attempted to cross the street and was struck by Lowery’s vehicle.
There were no citations issued in the accident.
