Are you ready to build your own home?
Community Services Consortium (CSC) is looking for families to participate in the next Self-Help Housing project, which will be located in Sweet Home. The Self-Help Housing Program helps families with low to moderate incomes work together to build their own homes. CSC will help those who qualify in the search for financing options including: grants, low-interest loans, down payment assistance, and homebuyer education.
In most instances, families help determine which floor plans will be used as they participate in the planning and building of their own homes. No building experience is necessary to qualify for the program. Income guidelines do apply, but are flexible. If you are interested, please call Nikki Brown at Community Services Consortium in the Housing Department, 541-758-2786.
