Linn County 4-H members had a stellar showing at the 2016 Oregon State Fair Aug. 26 to Sept. 5, bringing home 88 champion and reserve ribbons.
County 4-H’ers also brought home eight medallions which signify the best of the best in the area that they are exhibiting in. Members participated in livestock, horses, small animals, family and consumer sciences, expressive arts and natural sciences.
Those interested in participating in 4-H are invited to an Open House from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Oct. 4 at the Linn County Fair & Expo Center. For information, contact OSU Extension Service Linn County at (541) 967-3871.

Entomology – Jacob Barraza, champion.
