The Huskies played a close game at Woodburn Friday, Jan. 4. before losing 47-42 in girls basketball.
Sweet Home took an 8-7 lead by the end of the first quarter before falling behind 22-19 at halftime. Woodburn stretched its lead to 32-27 in the third quarter.
“Woodburn’s in the same exact boat we are,” said Coach Michelle Knight. “They’re rebuilding. They have a new coach. It was a great game. (Sweet Home) played good defense.
