Sweet Home Patriots for American Soldiers held its last regular rally in support of America’s soldiers in Iraq on Saturday.
Across the street, the Veterans of Foreign Wars held its annual Loyalty Day ceremonies specifically to honor American soldiers in Iraq.
“We’ve been here for five weeks,” Doug Gibson said. His son, Jason Gibson, is in Iraq. “It started out as a solo venture, and the whole town’s jumped behind us.”
