Investigators determined that a 65-year-old Sweet Home man died last week from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound to a lower extremity.
Sweet Home police responded to a report at 12:52 p.m. on March 5 from a citizen of a male lying face down under a vehicle in the driveway of a residence in the 100 block of Holley Road.
Police located a deceased male, whom they identified as Robert Fagan.
Police Chief Jeff Lynn said investigators determined that Fagan died from an accidental self-inflicted gunshot wound, and the involved firearm was located at the scene near the deceased man.
An investigation is ongoing.
