Daniel Schroeder, 54, of Sweet Home was sentenced to three years in prison on charges of third-degree assault and attempted first-degree kidnapping.
He was scheduled for trial on Oct. 16 and Oct. 17 but entered into a plea agreement on Oct. 11, pleading no contest to third-degree assault and attempted first-degree kidnapping, while a charge of first-degree kidnapping was dismissed.
