A Sweet Home area man shot and injured himself Sunday afternoon in an apparent accident.
Sweet Home paramedics transported Bruce Hamar, 58, to Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center, where he was to undergo surgery.
Linn County deputies and medics responded to the incident in the Santiam Terrace area between Sweet Home and Lebanon at 12:08 p.m. on Jan. 9.
