Lebanon Police officer and Sweet Home resident Travis Luttmer, right, and pictured, left, interacting with the crowd during this year’s Strawberry Festival Grand Parade, won three awards at the North American Motor Officers Association Conference May 17 – 19 in Yakima, Wash. Luttmer placed third in the proficiency course, second in the solo barrels and second in the slow race. Awards are given for riding skills, balance, and the ability to ride a criss-cross pattern between barrels at speed.
