Austin Ryan Hunter St. Martin pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree sexual abuse March 12 in Linn County Circuit Court and was sentenced to 90 days in jail with credit for time served.
He also must serve four years probation, complete a sex offender evaluation program and complete a recommended sex offender treatment program.
St. Martin, 18, was ordered to have no contact with the victim except as specified by the court or probation officer; to have no unsupervised contact with minor females; to not access media used for deviant sexual arousal; and to not frequent places designed for the use of children, such as playgrounds, parks and school grounds.
He was fined $200.
The charge stemmed from a report that he attempted to subject a female under the age of 14 to sexual contact in 2016.
