Sweet Home’s softball team played twice last week, beating Santiam Christian 8-3 at home and then downing Cascade 5-2 on the road.
Coach Karyn Hartsook said that although the games are technically scrimmages, since Sweet Home is winding down its six-week spring “mini” season, players are taking them seriously.
