Shane J. Steinbacher, 45, of Sweet Home died Dec. 15, 2019.
He was born May 6, 1974 in Lebanon to Robert and Kathy (Grissom) Steinbacher.
Mr. Steinbacher was raised in the Sweet Home but spent a better chunk of his adulthood in Alaska. He was a loader operator and worked at both Quality Sand and Gravel as well as Anchorage Sand and Gravel.
Mr. Steinbacher enjoyed fishing, hunting, snow machining, motor cross, rock hounding, and hiking. He loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by four children, Britni Sylvester, Brent Sylvester, Saesha Lewis and Stephani Brockman; parents Robert “Tony” and Kathy Jo Steinbacher; siblings Steven Steinbacher, Selena Steinbacher, Shawna Yunke, and Seth Steinbacher; and 11 grandchildren.
A family memorial will be held at a later date.
