Edgewater RV and Marina will install a gate at Shea Point to close access at night to the day-use area beginning on Sept. 15.
Edgewater manages the area as part of a lease agreement with the U.S. Corps of Engineers.
Managers say the nightly gate closure will allow them to focus resources on providing quality recreation opportunities at Foster Lake, according to a Corps press release.
