Shelley Heney

Shelley Nancy Heney, 59, of Sweet Home, died Feb. 5, 2009 near Albany.

She was born July 6, 1949 in Detroit, Mich., to Clyde and Kathleen (Tomes) Williams.

She grew up in Glendora, Calif., and graduated from high school there. She raised her family in Southern California while working as a dental assistant. She married Mark Heney on Aug. 22, 1981. They moved to Oregon six years ago, eventually settling in Sweet Home.

Mrs. Heney enjoyed collecting gem stones, making her own jewelry, and going to thrift stores.

She is survived by her husband, Mark Heney of Sweet Home; sons Ken Dinet and his wife Dina of Sweet Home and Jeff Forgy and his wife Emily of Stratham, N.H.; mother Kathlee Williams of Las Vegas, Nev.; sisters Janet Kauble and Terrie Hale, both of Las Vegas, Nev.; and grandchildren Eric, Al, Melissa, Jessica, Clyde, and Caelum.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clyde Williams, and brothers Edwin and Steven Williams.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, at Huston-Jost Funeral Home in Lebanon.
