The Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District Budget Committee approved the department’s proposed budget of about $1.7 million for 2003-04 on June 3.
The district board must still hold a hearing and adopt the proposed budget.
The district board appointed Don Hopkins to continue as board president and Dave Redden to continue as vice president. Elmer Riemer was named secretary-treasurer, succeeding the late Gerald Wooley.
