Brandon Courteau and Cheryl Wilson were the Jack and Jill overall and technical winners at the State Forestry Club Competition the weekend of May 7.
Sweet Home, Knappa, Philomath, Sabin, Scio, and LaPine competed at Central Oregon Community College in Bend. There were 117 students combined competing for state honors.
Knappa placed first. Sweet Home was second, Philomath third, Scio fourth, Sabin fifth, and La Pine sixth.
