After winning it all a year ago, Sweet Home High School’s Forestry Club, pictured, took home second-place honors at the state forestry skills competition April 29-30 at Oregon State University. The Huskies finished behind Clatskanie. Final point totals were unavailable. Senior Nic Dishaw was named Overall Jack, awarded to the boy who scores the most points. Club Advisor Dustin Nichol said senior Cara Baker placed second overall among the girls and her sister Callie was also in the running for all-around honors.
