The Sweet Home Junior High Cats dance team rounded out their season with two first place wins and two seconds under coaches Tiffany Scott and Amy Belveal.
The Cats took first place at Centennial High School in Gresham on March 8 and at Estacada on March 15. Seconds were earned at Eastacada on January 18 and at Oregon City on February 1.
The Cats “A” team finished the season with 30 dancers. Team captains included Stefani Crocker, Josalyn Kittson, Megan Day, Alicia Nichol, Bethany Blatchley and Kelsey McGarry.
The Cats “B” team took fifth at Centennial and third at Estacada. That squad finished the season with 18 dancers.
Members of the Cats “A” team included Laura Ball, Amy Barnes, Amanda Basham, Bethany Blatchley, Stafani Brock, Jamie Burcham, Cassie Conrad, Bre Costa, Lauren Cota, Stafani Crocker, Megan Day, Darci Dimick, Chelsea Gregory, Samantha Hale, Amber Horner, Rachell Jefferson, Josalyn Kittson, Marissa Lehman, Samantha Looney, Kelsey McGarry, Megan Moser, Alicia Nichol, Kim Parker, Katie Rains, Loren Rye, Becky Sanchez, Jessalyn Seiber, Kirsten Stevenson, Sarah Tyler and Zuri VanCleave.
