The Sweet Home Fire and Ambulance District responded to a call regarding a single vehicle rollover on 18th Avenue and Grape Street, Sept 25.
According to the on shift battalion chief Randy Whitfield, a young male operator was going around a corner southbound before losing control and ultimately rolling his pick-up. The rollover ended in a neighboring residents yard after damaging an electrical vault in the process. This left a multitude of wire exposed while also knocking out power to several homes.
There was no injury reported in this wreck, with medic units being canceled enroute. Pacific Power and Light was called while crews worked to keep the scene under control. Two vehicles were onscene, M21 and BC21. According to Sweet Home PD CAD Press Logs, this wreck was estimated to cost over $2,500 in damages.
