Beginning Thursday, March 26, the parking lots serving Cheadle Lake Park off Weirich Drive are closed to both pedestrians and vehicles due to construction, which is expected to continue through the summer.
During this time, visitors can still access the trails by using the parking area on River Road, and the city asks that the public remain on designated trails and avoid the park grounds while work is underway. The closures will be temporarily lifted during scheduled events on May 14–17, June 1–8, and July 3–4.
