Sonia Haydee Romero, 71, of Sweet Home, died Nov. 22, 2021.
She was born June 18, 1950 in Guatemala City, Guatemala, to Emma Rosa Herrera Martinez and Jose Edmundo Meza Azurdia. She was raised in Guatemala City before moving to Southern California in her early 20s.
Mrs. Romero had lived in Oregon for the past 27 years. She loved animals and, prior to living in Oregon, raised canaries and was able to mimic their song. She…
