The South Santiam Watershed Council (SSWC) is offering a year-long AmeriCorps internship starting August 27, 2001. SSWC seeks an intern with interest in the natural resources of the South Santiam watershed for the social and economic benefit of its landowners, managers, and users.
The AmeriCorps internís duties include a water quality monitoring program working with school teachers, students, and volunteers supporting the programs of the SSWC, making presentations at schools and tributary landowners meetings.
