Girls interested in serving on the 2009 Sportsman’s Holiday Court should apply by Wednesday, Dec. 17.
Applications will be available at the Chamber of Commerce and Sweet Home High School. They should be returned to the Chamber of Commerce or mailed to Coordinator Wendy Younger.
The court is expected to have five or six positions, Younger said. She is hoping to interview candidates in early January with a selection by mid-January.
The selections are made by judges from the community, she said. Last year, three judges were involved in the process.
Younger also is inviting volunteers to serve on three committees, parade and decorations, sponsorships and raffle tickets and prizes, she said.
