Candalynn Johnson, 17, is the daughter of Charles Johnson and Karie Johnson.
She will be a senior at Sweet Home High School, where she is active in cross country, Key Club, Drama Club and choir.
She is among four Sportsman’s Holiday princesses, including Chancey Fuesler, Anne Marie Miller and Kayla Mackenzie Wickline.
Johnson enjoys reading, running, acting, singing and using her computer.
“I wanted to get more involved in the community, have a chance to get scholarship money and be a princess,” Johnson said about the Sportsman’s Holiday Court.
She said her father has been the biggest influence on her life.
“From the time I was a baby, him and I were so close, and he’s taught me everything I know,” Johnson said.
She plans to graduate with an enhanced high school diploma and then attend Linn-Benton Community College for two years through the Access College Today program before switching to Oregon State University.
