Sportsman’s Holiday princess resigns

Sweet Home Sportsman’s Holiday Court Princess Kelsey Hall voluntarily relinquished her title after being arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicants on Oct. 27.

Hall was involved in a single-car rollover at 1216 43rd Ave. Sweet Home Police cited and released Hall to a parent.

She contacted court chaperones, chaperone Karla Burcham said, and apologized. She relinquished her title because she did not want the incident to reflect on the court.

The Sportsman’s Holiday Court will finish its activities this year with an appearance in the Christmas Parade on Dec. 3.
