Steven Michael Pace, 63, of Sweet Home, died May 25, 2023.
He was born Sept. 9, 1959, in Lebanon to App and Georgia (Green) Pace. He lived most of his life in Sweet Home.
Mr. Pace worked at Cascadia Timber Consulting for many years as a forestry technician. He worked on land sculpting jobs and ran big machinery.
He had many hobbies, including fishing, hunting, reloading ammo, working on guns and working on vehicles. He was a man of all trades.
Mr. Pace went to River of Life Church and the Harvest Christian Center.
He is survived by four children, Steven Pace of Beaverton, Jessica Pace of Beaverton, Jeremy Pace of Redmond and Justin Pace of Sweet Home; five grandchildren; and siblings Shirley Pace of Harrisburg, Pa., Dennis Pace of Woodburn, and Richard Pace of Sweet Home.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine Pace, in 2023; brothers Kenneth in 2013, Robert in 2015, and Gary in 2019; and his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 8, at Harvest Christian Center, 4231 Long St.,in Sweet Home.
