Store owner closes up shop – temporarily, he says – to go help with hurricane aftermath

GTS G6 Surplus and Survival closed its doors for business at 1119 Main St. Saturday, not because it is going out of business, but because owner James Goble and his security company, G6 Security, are headed for New York to help with recovery after Hurricane Sandy.

Goble held a “deployment sale” on Saturday, packed up the store and closed, but it will eventually reopen.
