Linn County Commissioners Roger Nyquist and Sherrie Sprenger approved five First-Time Youth Wage Grant applications at their Wednesday, Sept. 9 meeting, bringing the total for 2026 to 14 participating businesses.
Some 30 young people are benefitting from the program, which is in its 20th year.
