The body of a 56-year-old Sweet Home man was found submerged in the pond at Best Western Premier Boulder Falls Inn, in Lebanon on Feb. 24.
The Lebanon Police Department and Lebanon Fire District investigated a report of the body made by grounds-keeping employees at 7:58 a.m., according to an LPD press release.
Police and Fire personnel arrived and located a body in the water, which appeared to have been submerged for several hours.
Water rescue personnel from the Lebanon Fire Department retrieved the body of a deceased male.
As of Friday afternoon, the investigation has revealed that man was a transient from the Sweet Home area.
Police have identified the man but are not releasing his name until next of kin are notified.
The man was alone and there is no suspicion of foul play.
He was not staying at Boulder Falls Inn. The investigation is ongoing.
