Linn County search crews found a Sweet Home man dead Sunday afternoon after an overnight search for him in the Quartzville area.
Ricky Dean Hurse, 53, was picking mushrooms Saturday approximately three miles from Quartzville Road, near the 600 line, Sheriff Tim Mueller said.
His girlfriend reported him overdue at approximately 11:30 p.m. on Saturday when he failed to return home.
