Sweet Home resident Natalie Grove graduated with Corban University’s class of 2013 in Salem on May 4.
Grove, an East Linn Christian Academy graduate, received a bachelor of science degree in English Communications with a 3.8 GPA.
She was on the Dean’s List every semester and interned at the Los Angeles Film Studies Center in spring 2013, for the art department on a web series called “Video Game High School.”
She also interned with a production company in Los Angeles where she worked with the production, development and post-production departments.
Grove was in Corban’s concert choir for six semesters, two of them in chamber choir, performing at the Hymn Festival, Christmas concerts, and spring concerts. She performed in the Theatre Department’s productions of Roger’s and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” and Tamara McGinnis’ adaptation of Shakespeare’s “MacBeth.”
She was among 289 students who graduated from Corban’s Salem and Tacoma, Wash., campuses during a two-hour ceremony at the Salem Armory.

Two Sweet Home residents were among 663 candidates for degrees presented at the Linfield College commencement exercises Sunday, June 2.
Katie McLain received a bachelor of science degree in management, graduating cum laude honors, which means she carried a grade point average of 3.80 to 3.91.
Ryan J. Graville graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business, with a marketing concentration.
