Vance Wolfe was the top winner among a contingent of Sweet Home metal shop students in the 2007 Linn-Benton Skills Contest at LBCC Thursday, March 1.
Sixteen Sweet Home students competed in the event, which includes competitions in a variety of welding methods, machine work and engine repair.
Wolfe took first place in the milling machine competition.
