Sweet Home No. 1 won the district tournament Saturday and Sunday at Central High School in Monmouth-Independence. Sweet Home 1 beat Harrsiburg 11-1 and then Newport 16-1 to advance to the district championship. Newport came back through the losers bracket to face Sweet Home 1 and fall 8-1.
