Sweet Home’s Symphonic Choir at State

The Sweet Home High School Symphonic Choir sings “Sisi Ni Moja” at the state choir competition held at George Fox University on May 4. The choir finished seventh among 12 choirs. “I do think this was one of their strongest performances,” said Choir Director Duncan Tuomi. “In the weeks leading up to the event itself, we’ve been putting in a lot of work addressing comments we got in the qualifying round. I think definitely (at state) the work that we put in paid off. It was an all-around stellar performance from them. They also walked out of there with very high spirits about their performance. It was a really great time.”
